I often see this word "happen" in the article but frankly speeking I am not totally understand how to use it correctly. Today I was trying to figut it out. My studying today as follows:

Happen is only a INTRANSITIVE verb. Its is crucial that you must know it is an INTRANSITIVE. Knowing it can avoid grammer mistake. For example , we know that there is no object following the intransitive. so , if you know the word "happen" is an intransitive, you won't add an object following the word "happen" except this word " to". The explanation as follows:

 the "to" should follow the word "happend"  to express

1) do something by chance: to do something by chance and without a previous plan". Chiness means "碰巧"

 For example1 : If you happen to see him, give him these keys.

2)  occur by chance: to occur or exist by chance

For example1 : It happened to be the last one in the store.

                      The trading happened to get executed. (Complete: The trading system had a problem on that day and the trading happened to get executed.

Today I read the article written by Steven at the Linguist Digest website. He expresses his thoughts in the article for three questions at the Learning Circuits Blog. These three question are

1. What will you remember most about 2006  ?

2. What are the biggest challenges for you as you head into 2007 ?

3. What are your predictions for 2007 ?

Here is my answer.

‧    what will I remember ?

I will remember that in late 2006 I became a formal member at the Linguist website and know different nice friends from other countries. I was able to have with other countries friends to exchange our thoughts in an online discussion. It is also my first time using Skype to have a voice talking via internet. It is really extraordinary experience for me.

My biggest regret was that I should have signed up early for a formal member in the Linguist. If that, I think my English must much better than now.

In 2006 I was turn over 30 years old, I felt so SAD.

In 2006 I left previous company and was hired by a company in a whole different area. In 2006 I traveled to Korea for 1 week.

In 2006 I took the TOEIC examination.

In 2006 I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years more.

In 2006 People frequently asked me when I get married.

In 2006 I attended the wedding party of some of my friends.

In 2006 I met three closely friends in my life.

In 2006 I leave a friend who is used to closely to me.

I have to frequently contact with German by emails in my job because my company is a agent of  German company , which manufactures the wire rope hoist, chain hoist and drive motor. I found that German is more serious than Taiwanese on job. I feel very sad when they refused my request to offer their Msn messenger to me. I think if we have our msn messenger each other, we can easily communicate and that will be more efficient. They said msn messenger is not allowed while at working. However , I think  they do not want to handle with us directly. They do not want to reply to my request immediately on msn. If they give me their msn messenger , they will more busy. They can pick up the email from my side to reply via email. I am sorry to say they work is not efficent. I think the best way to do business with other people is to be more familiar with each other. So I recommend they offer msn messenger to me. Mostly we use this way to do bussiness in Taiwan. Maybe It is not popular in Germany. I have to change my mind.

Suddenly I have an idea today that I can write the letters to them with few German words. Maybe they will treat me like a friend. Whatever, if not , at least I can learn a bit German via email on my job. So tonight I try to looking for any information in learning German. I find it is not easy to achieve useful information I would like to have.

 拒絶聖人，拋棄智慧，人就會獲利百倍。連聖人與智慧都會棄絶，何況常人！只有捨得放棄，才有收穫。朋友可以絶文，不可以欺騙。絶交是人的一大美德。善絶交就善進步。絶交一些人才能交往另一些人。不絶交無法找到真正志同道合的人。

Frankly , I hardly write down my thoughts with Chinese words after leaving school. Today I bought a chinese book name Governs by no-interference the speech life , writer is Father who is the ancient and very famous in China and Taiwan history.

     I have been working at this company for 1 month more. I am getting used  to this job, but  I have yet to be  familiar with durities. Mostly I can’t deal with the sudden events and therefore I have to ask Pony, my new co-worker, for a assistance. Most of time she kindly reply my questions, but sometimes she answer my questions in a bad manner. I think maybe she is busying with other duties. I think she is a good people, only the way she speaks is very directly. When she speaks to me in a very direct way and a loud sound, I have to tell myself that is just the way she speaks. Frankly, I feel a little bit uncomfortable when she speaks to me loud out. But the only  way to make me feel better is to adjust myself thoughts while she speaks out loud.

     The most difficult part of my new job is that I have to understand the machinery (refer to my company website :http://www.raychi.com.tw/) rather than understanding the procedures regarding International Trade. I remember I have no idea about those vocabularies Hoist , crane , stator and etc at first time. Even though I realize the meanings after picking up the dictionary, I am still fighting my way to understand their functions. What is more,  the planet is very far away from my office, I can’t come across those machinery. My supervisor said the best way for me to completely understand the products of the company is to go to the planet. He will ask the engineer to pick me up to the planet to look at the machinery in the future.
